Election Season Event: April 2022 Candidates of Color Forum with Aisha Dew & Rev. Vahisha Hasan and Queens Students

Thursday, April 21, 2022

Time: 7:00 pm

Location: Ketner Auditorium at Queens University of Charlotte

Who will be running our city and county? Who will serve as Sheriff and District Attorney?

It’s election season in Charlotte. The primaries are May 17th.  This event centers our focus to the first person lived experience of being a B.I.P.O.C. (black/indigenous person of color) in an electoral space. An impressive group of incumbents and candidates will enlighten us. What are the most important issues, measures, candidates, and races in the region? Come vote with your presence and influence the influencers with your perspective!

There will be a meet and greet before (6:40-7:00 pm) and after the program (9:20-9:30  pm) and pizza served at the break.
