Stand with your Muslim Sisters for Annual World Hijab Day on Wednesday, February 1st

#Worldhijabday is Wednesday, February 1st. This concept was created in 2013 as an invitation for Muslims and non-Muslims to experience the hijab for the day. Consider embracing this opportunity to stand in support of the Muslim community. There are many YouTube videos out there showing you how to wear it. Just look in your closet and grab a large scarf. You can wear the hijab for the day or simply take a photo of yourself wearing it and upload it.

The hijab is worn by Muslim women as a sign of modesty. Observant Christians and Jews, similarly, have customs of wearing a headscarf as a sign of modesty.
